Do I have to have health insurance to become a member of ʹ TGF ʹ ?
No. Anyone can become a member of the Dr Harish foundation aka TGF at anytime. We do not pre-screen or deny patients because of their age, race, religion, national origin, health condition including the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, sexual orientation, education, economic status, employment status or citizenship.
UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE
Dr Harish Foundation @ TGF pays the insurance premium towards
ACCIDENT INSURANCE (disability inclusive)- towards PRADHAN MANTRI SURAKSHA BHIMA YOJANA to all TGF members@ Rs.12/yr to be eligible for
- lakhs to surviving spouse on death
- lakhs on loss of vision to both eyes or both limbs
- 1 lakh on loss of vision for an eye or a limb
Is my health information confidential?
Yes Dr Harish Foundation @ TGF is an independent ,privately operated medical company that respects and guards your privacy. We will not share any medical records or personal information with anybody without your express consent.
Do I need an appointment to be seen ?
Yes, so that we can provide the best care for all our patients and help you avoid wait. We ask that you schedule an appointment before you visit. If you have an urgent need, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible.

Can I add family members to my membership? Do I need an appointment to be seen ?
Yes. Spouses, children, parents of enrolled children and other family members can be added to or removed from your billing account at any time. Each patient will have his or her individual medical record and may request to have their care provided by a different health care provider if they wish.
However, the member ship is presently open only to the Sr. citizens .
Is there a longterm contract?
No. TGF offers services on a month-to-month basis and you can cancel at anytime. However, to re-enrol, you will pay Rs.500 re-enrolment fee.
Is TGF health insurance?
No. We work directly for our patients to provide direct primary care. Your monthly care fee pays for our primary and preventive care services. TGF does not bill any insurance carrier for our services, and monthly care fees are not reimbursable by any health insurance company, and may not be applied to any insurance plan deductible. Your insurance plan may be billed by others for services such as emergency, hospital, speciality care, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, prescription drugs or other goods and services that are ordered by your insurance designated health care provider but are not performed or provided in our office.

If I am in a managed care healthcare plan currently, may I join TGF too?
Yes. Your monthly fee provides you with TGF primary care regardless of your insurance or managed care plan.
Do you currently offer TGF memberships to union members?
Yes. Several union members are members of TGF through trust plans or collectively bargained agreements
What if need to see a specialist?
When your medical needs extend beyond the scope of primary care, our empaneled specialist will see you.
How much is the charge and how quickly can I sign up?
TGH charges each patient a low, age-based monthly fee, regardless of insurance status or preexisting conditions
